UNIVERSAL PLUMBING PROUDLY SUPPORTS PACELINE

Paceline

We are proud to support Paceline …an Augusta-based nonprofit that, since 2019, has raised almost $2million dollars to fund innovative cancer research at the Georgia Cancer Center.
Paceline is a movement of communities and organizations striving toward a common goal of curing cancer faster. Throughout the year, Paceline brings communities and organizations together by inspiring them in different ways to fund innovative cancer research. Every October, they hold their signature event, “PaceDay,” to celebrate these efforts together centered around a fun bike ride designed for all – a way to experience the southern countryside in safety with a finish-line party to share with loved ones.
Universal Plumbing’s very own Shalanda Morris, along with co-captain & cancer survivor Brennan Francois, proudly supported the biggest community led team for PaceDay called Yes We Can! A team of more than 40 riders and volunteers including customers.
As team captain, Shalanda led the team to raise almost $25,000 in one year alone placing team Yes We Can as the biggest community team ably supported by Universal Plumbing.

Quote from Paceline President Martyn Jones:

“The entire Universal Plumbing family continues its commitment to community by support participation that funds cancer research through the Paceline annual event and other activities throughout the year. It wasn’t just the team members, there were so many great volunteers who came together and cheered us on and helped keep the event organized. We are very pleased that we continued to receive support from our customers who have also joined the team and look forward to even more riders next year!”

Together, we can cure cancer faster! To see how you can join & support our team help, visit paceline.org.
